AA Bar & Grill in Eureka

Streak was soft and juicy. Loved it. A bit noise though. Guys were off the hoof when drinking.

Was taken to this seeming dive bar 10 years ago. Very interesting place. Law enforcement, outlaws and locals all congregate here over fantastic drink and food. This place makes the PERFECT rib eye and the drinks are legitimate, service is fun.

Quality steaks in the evening, great inexpensive brunch on the weekends. Mostly locals and plenty of wide screen TV's so you won't miss your game. Full bar, great drinks and excellent staff.

So friggin awesome, from breakfast lunch and dinner you can't go wrong it's too bad that we can't visit it right now.

Horrible layout for a bar and grill, we waited to be seen for several minutes before we decided to leave since nobody bothered to ask us if we needed any help. Tables weren’t cleaned off and the place just seemed filthy. Had high hopes from the reviews, it’s too bad we couldn’t try it out. From one bar owner to another, you should think about getting a bigger space with better help that can do a better job at multitasking.

Awesome staff, food & drinks A&A is the whole package!

Back alley entrance, food was good maybe pricey but I usually don't order steak but burgers were a lunch item not served at dinner time. Craft beers on tap were good at a fair price. Could stand to update to larger TV's. Quant little place with a good crowd of people. I'd go back if in the area for lunch, maybe award another star ;-)

Filet mignon with gorgonzola butter here might the best steak I've ever had.

I had the Ribeye Steak, it was excellent! Best steak in town so far! I honestly didnt expect the Quality, but they delivered In Spades! Very happy with this establishment!

By far, and by far I mean FAR, the best slab of beef that has ever graced my taste buds. From the outside A A looks completely and utterly innocuous but do not pass this jawn up. It's definitely a "bar that serves food" but the emphasis here is most definitely on the food.Awesome bartends to boot. 5/5, will beef again.

Traveling with my husband found this place. We both wanted steak, we were not disappointed. The steak was amazing! Cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese bites were great! If we were just driving through we would definitely be going back!

Hands down best steak in Humboldt! These guys know how to get it done! The server/bartender was super busy but he provided great service and was really awesome! Don't remember his name, but kudos for holding it down

My friend and I happened upon this place by accident and completely enjoyed it! I'm from Arizona and she's from Southern California so we didn't know where to go, but everywhere we went was either closed or dreary! This place was fun and we kept going back LOL

Ignore any dive bar comments and go here. The beer is good, the steaks are awesome and the service was just fine. It's a real bar, not some tourist trap with huge printed menus! Large horseshoe bar with a few tables round the outside. Very relaxed and plenty of sport to watch. Prices are reasonable if not good for the quality of food you get to eat. If I'm ever in Eureka again I'll be coming here!

That atmosphere is great and the service is excellent! My cousin and I go to AA often and they always serve a perfect ribeye.

Amazing steak, something you would not expect from a bar. Customer service was great bartender was really nice. She replaced my baked potato, when I accidentally put horseradish on it thinking it was butter.

Great drinks and reasonable food prices. Small and intimate setting. We enjoyed the friendly service from Whittney who is a great bartender! We will definitely come back. And I really do own a bar:)

If you are craving good steaks and awesome service with some sass, have dinner at the AA. NEVER a disappointment....always a pleasure, well, until you step outside the front door...so might I suggest parking in the back!

Small place with friendly people, and I (a picky eater) LOVED their food. My only complaint is that the place is very loud (it is a bar, after all), but I'll still go back soon.

I was complaining about the prices until I got the steak, wow , fantastic! My eyes and nose are still watering from the awesome hot horseradish. I would say I'll be back but I live 2345 miles from here. Bartender/server was great too!

The atmosphere is not great, but the food was decent bar fare. Good drinks. Someone was smoking too close to the open door so we had to deal with that along with very loud regulars, but hey, we were visiting and it wasn't our city.

It's a bar you can feel comfortable in. Good food and way to spend a night.

My husband and I shared an order of spicy chicken wings and onion rings. While waiting for our order we played shuffle board. A shuffle board table lines the wall when you enter. The atmosphere was more bar than restaurant. There was just enough to know it's there without feeling commercial. The wings were crispy, spicy and perfect to share. The onion rings had a beer pancake batter flavor. The salt was just enough to cut the spice of the chicken. We had a fun, little-bit-of-time date.

Just got take out from them. TOP NOTCH STEAK! They put a beautiful char on it! The salad was garden fresh! Nicely done staff at AA! BRAVO! this is only my second or third time eating there despite all the good things I've heard about them over the years. I'll be going more often. One of the last few places in eureka where you can get a good steak.

best steak in town.... local atmosphere big-city people may find it beneath them if you're one of those people Do not show up . You'll feel miserable and make the rest of us uncomfortable. But if you're cool and hipp the steak is very good.
